Ukraine Is Inspiration For Other Post Soviet States
Yulia Volodymyrivna Tymoshenko (Born in 1960) is a Ukrainian politician. She belongs to the Ukrainian political party – the Batkivshchyna and is the people’s Deputy of Ukraine (many times from 1997 and since 2019). She had also been the Vice Prime Minister for the fuel and energy complex ( from 1999–2001), Prime Minister of Ukraine from 2007 to 2010. Ms. Tymoshenko was the first woman prime minister of Ukraine and the only one so far till date. She is a firm supporter of Ukrainian integration into European union and she supports NATO membership for her country as well.
Russian invasion has recently caused huge damage to life and livelihood of the common Ukrainian citizens. The liabilities of this war have burdened upon them solely. This war turmoil has left entire European soil into chaotic situation. Yulia Volodymyrivna Tymoshenko has recently said that “Ukrainians have strength to defend themselves, but the world must do its part”, considering the recent atrocities of war.
In latest, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has announced $20 million fund allocation for the Ukrainian crisis through humanitarian channels. He said, “committed to staying and delivering, to support people in Ukraine in their time of need.”
